The Art of Self-nurturing:

A chat with Olga Roberts

In this episode of the Mom Camp: Around the Campfire podcast, I am speaking with Olga Roberts from Collage Beauty about the importance of self-care and the even deeper concept of self-nurturing. Olga shares her entrepreneurial journey from being a flight attendant through to co-founding a skincare line that emphasizes holistic health and wellness. Every step of the way, wellness and sustainability became more of a focus for Olga, and her brand now fully embodies these values.

During our conversation Olga shares the significance of self-check-ins and rituals as part of her daily routine. We explore what “pro-aging” looks like, as the Collage brand actively celebrates this concept, empowering people to feel their best, inside and out, at every age.

Olga’s bio

Olga Roberts is the Co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of Collage Skincare, a Canadian-made, clean beauty brand rooted in wellness, sustainability, and self-care. Her journey into skincare was anything but conventional—spanning international travel, entrepreneurship, and a deep personal commitment to well-being.

A former international flight attendant, Olga spent years navigating a demanding career while raising two young children with her husband, who was also in aviation. With both parents frequently away, the pressures of balancing career and family led to burnout, anxiety, and a major turning point in her life. Seeking a fresh start, she took a leap of faith—relocating to Vancouver Island to be closer to family and prioritize a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.

This shift opened the door to new opportunities, as Olga explored roles in organic food, sustainable furniture, and natural bedding, always drawn to industries centered around well-being. As an entrepreneur, she co-developed a certified organic mattress and bedding line, but when business challenges arose, she was faced with another pivotal decision—to walk away and start anew.

Through these experiences, a common theme emerged: wellness, sustainability, and conscious living. This realization ultimately led her to a new purpose—creating Collage Skincare. When she met her future business partner, they shared a vision for clean, Canadian-made skincare that supports skin health at every stage of life—for all genders, skin types, and ages.

Olga believes that skincare is one piece of a larger, holistic approach to self-care, alongside movement, rest, and mindfulness. With a strong focus on sustainability, Collage Skincare is committed to reducing environmental impact—prioritizing biodegradable formulations, ethical sourcing, and minimal-waste packaging. The brand was designed to be an effortless, supportive part of daily rituals—nurturing the skin while enhancing overall well-being.

Today, Olga leads Collage Skincare with a passion for empowering individuals through intentional self-care while making sustainability more accessible in the beauty industry. Through her work, she continues to build a brand that reflects her values: Clean, Conscious, and Canadian.
