The science of branding for the mompreneur:

A chat with brand strategist Britney Gardner

This one’s for the business mamas! Whether you’re running a company or you are a solopreneur, having a strong brand is an important part of running a successful business. In today’s episode I chat with Britney Gardner, brand strategist and mama of two. Britney works with businesses to build consistent brands – from visual identity to values and messaging. We dive into what makes up a brand, and what to consider as you develop one. A brand is so much more than a logo and font!

Britney also talks about how she runs her business (including hosting a podcast) in just 15 hours a week. She shares how she makes this lighter schedule work for both her business and her family, so if you are building a business this is definitely an episode to check out!

Britney’s bio:

I’m a designer turned photographer turned brand strategist. But none of that is the real reason you’ll hire me.

I discern beauty and wisdom.

By that, I mean I see you. Like, really see you. I will help you weave your unique essence throughout your branding for a final product filled with your unique beauty.

I do all that in about 15 hours of work a week and spend the rest of the time chasing around an 18-month-old and 8-year-old. I hang out with my husband drinking wine or whisky while we cook together. I read a lot.

And sometimes… we get to make magic together.
