The journey back from losing yourself in motherhood:

A chat with Kristina Campos

In this week’s episode I am chatting with mom and coach Kristina Campos. She shares her story of how she moved through the devastating break-up of her marriage, into a place where she has discovered (and embraced) who SHE is again. Kristina had lost who she was beyond wife and mother, and this major life change put her on a path of self-discovery and renewal. She learned a lot about not only who Kristina was, but also the type of mom she wanted to be. She now works with moms and families on their own journeys through parenthood, focusing on parents of those always fun stages of tween and teen, providing tips, resources, and support.

Kristina’s bio:

Kristina Campos lives in Colorado and has four children of school age. She has been an educator for over 20 years, working with all grade levels, Pre-school through 12th grade. Kristina graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999 and received her master’s degree from the University of Denver in 2019. After many years of teaching, Kristina saw a need to help children from the source – THE HOME! With great enthusiasm, Kristina quit her teaching job and founded the organization The Impactful Parent. Now, Kristina helps parents of school-aged children by providing parenting tips, resources, and community to those that follower her. When Kristina is not with her friends and family, she volunteers as a Board of Trustee for two different local Colorado schools. Kristina has a passion for children and a strong devotion to serving parents and their school-age children. She continues to stay active in the schools by substitute teaching whenever her schedule allows.
