Recognizing your triggers and stopping self-judgement:

A chat with Darlynn Childress

In this week’s episode I am chatting with Darlynn Childress, a parent coach who specializes in creating a peaceful home. I know voices can get loud in our home, so I found this a very helpful conversation! Darlynn has a framework she uses with parents to help them feel calmer and create a more peaceful environment. It starts by thinking about the triggers that might be a) causing the behaviours from our kids, and b) causing our own responses. We also talk about how to stop the self-judgement that inevitably comes with those responses that we’re not super proud of.

If your house is full of “big emotions” like ours is, this one is a must-listen.
