The power of decluttering and simplifying:

A chat with Krista Lockwood of Motherhood Simplified

In this week’s episode I am chatting with Krista Lockwood of Motherhood Simplified. We chat all things simplification and decluttering, and how it can in fact be possible for busy moms. Krista shares her story of how she, her husband, and their three kids moved from Alaska to Florida with only one suitcase each. They basically started from scratch, and she realized how much better she felt without all the “stuff.” As she intentionally chose what items she allowed back into their home, she has been able to master the balance of having enough, without having too much.

While Krista doesn’t recommend the extreme route she and her family took, she has become passionate about helping moms declutter and simplify their lives. She shares how the changes she has made has truly simplified her life. The three biggest things that stood out for me were that she has less laundry, she has more time, and she is more calm about all things mom life. How awesome is that?!

Krista is also the expert guest speaker for the January member call in Mom Camp: IGNITE, so if you want to dig in further for a private workshop with Krista, click HERE for all the details!

Krista’s bio:

Krista teaches decluttering for moms who don’t want to be a full blown minimalist. In 2013 her and her husband moved from Alaska to Florida with only one suitcase each, and while she doesn’t believe you need to go that extreme, she has been able to master the balance of having enough, but not too much.
