Balance is a verb, not an achievement:

A chat with Liz Bayardelle, PhD

In this week’s episode I am chatting with Liz Bayardelle, PhD. If you’re a regular listener, you know that near the end of every episode I ask guests how they define balance for themselves and their family. Everyone has a slightly different definition, a different way of looking at it, and it just so happens that balance is one of Liz’s favourite subjects.

Liz shares what balance means to her, and explains how she helps moms find balance in their own lives. She has a great way of framing the topic, which might provide a new perspective. My favourite quote in our conversation is “balance is a verb, not an achievement.”

Liz’s bio:

Dr. Liz Bayardelle is an author, speaker, coach, digital consultant, and happily sleep-deprived mom of three. During nights and naptimes, she uses her PhD in business psychology as an executive and principal for three companies. She is also a founder or co-founder of several websites on parenting  businessfailure (her favorite subject), and otherwise attempting to do an unsafe number of things at the same time.
